The Gathering: Road Trip on 22nd of October, 2005

This is a blog on our time spent in the car, where most of the time, i snapped the pics from the front passenger's seat. it all started at kyrel's resident in damansara where we all agreed to meet before going to Shah Alam for our buka puasa dinner. we started out a bit late, since the parents need to freshen up and tend the children. iye la.. sapa suruh jalan sehari suntuk...kan dah letih... hahaha..
we went out in two cars, me in kyrel's auntie honda city. this is the first time i'll be riding the car..so, there will be a bit of my comments here and there as well 
the car is really nice from the inside, eventhough i have some doubts on its external appearance..
with airbags, SRS and all those extras, the car feels splendid. it runs on CVT transmision, with an option of 7 speed steepings.. so, ehhh.. the ride is smooth and power is well distributed in a wide range. fuel? kyrel admits that this car is really economical, and consumes just like his 1.1L kelisa!
and the boot. my gosh! can make a house in there! i pulled down the back seat and forced my 6 foot model to lie down straight.. man! he can do that! wow!
enough of that, back to the trips boys! we start out at 5, and promised to meet nizam at crystal crown, klang as i hehehe forgot where his house is.. 
nizam waited for us and then guide us to his house in sg udang. he brought out his daughter, to meet every body since only he will be coming.. the wife got some urusan to take care of kat rumah..
then of we jump into the car again! patah balik to shah alam, nizam will be riding with us, heading to sect 13 near the stadium.. it took a while to sampai.. we went cruising a bit.. heheh.

akhirnya, after so long... enduring all the years.. baru la nak merasa having my own property... on my name!!! hahahaha... i'm really lucky motor ni still ada jual, penat sehhh carik satu kl, takde dah.. kalau ada pun, dah mark up price giler222.. tobat serik.. nasib baik jumpa satu kat home town.. terus book. its not that the older bike i used to ride dah rosak, nooo.. still good condition, cuma dah terlalu tua.. and because of it a 2 stroke machine, minyak kuat gilerrr.. tak tahan ehhh.. bengkok bayar minyak je... 
at least dapat la save duit sikit for "future plans"... hehehe.
the bike here is different from ordinary lagenda(base model) because of a few features:
1. blueish main lights
2. full colored body covers with unique stripes
3. using the classic yamaha emblem
4. cast wheels (5 spoke), 1.85 rear, 1.60 front with tubeless tyres
5. shock absorbers with gas reservoir
6. special LED rear lights
7. matching meter panel
so, the bike costs more than usual.. and some shop senang2 markup.. siottttt!!
so, now i need so customized my bike for a bit.. maybe a new set of mirrors.. yang dia bagi ni besau siottt cam telinga capang jee.. and maybe larger tyres bila berduit, stromberg fuel saver, nice chromed plet number, and maybe a givi box. tgk laaa..
my number tak cantik, main tikam je kat jpj. nak book mahal siottttt!!!
hmmm.. dalam dunia ni, semua kena ada duit...

My birthday treat with miss Nadia ku sayang

on the 14 october, we decide to buka posa sama2, since its gonna be my birthday eve.. heheh.. iye la.. kalau ikut kalendar islam, pertukaran hari adalah pada waktu maghrib.. 
so, after work, i jalan jalan sekitar mid valley while waiting for nadia to abis keje. then we jalan jalan lagi sambil tunggu waktu berbuka...mmm.. cam lambat je hari ni...
bila masuk waktu, we went separate ways for solat, me kat LG, nadia at her office.Promised nak jumpa kat depan starbucks and off we go!! to Madam Kwan's!!! sodappp!!!
we had vege soup for starters, nasi lemak rendang ayam, char kueh teow, and cendol for desserts..
sedap siott rendang dia.. padan la ramai org datang makan nasi lemak... we spent time there for a while borak2 and then.. gi naik keta pulak, on the way back borak borak lagi..(man...we TALKED!)
we went cruising a bit.. but not too late laa..tomorrow i have to go somewhere.. hehe. kena bangun awal..
anyway, it was a veeerrrrryyy wonderful evening, and i nak amik kesempatan kat sini to say thank you nadia for treating me to such a nice meal.. burppp!! hehehehehuhuheuhu..

hellluuuuuuu...everybody!!! long time no see.. tima kacih kerana sudi melawat page ambo yg tak seberapa nih.. hari ni takde gambar sgt nak post...sebab belum transfer anything pun from the memory card, edit, resize, etc. takde masa laa.. 
hari ni i want to tell you all about my angan angan list.. no not really a list, but options.. if i could, nak semua! hehehe... i like to play bass a lot.. started playing it long ago.. err.. maybe back in 1997 or so.. hehe.. tapi tak pandai pandai pun lagi.. cheissss... ingat lagi first time belajar main bass, pakai gitar kapok je..brand skylark..har har har.. tiada resources la.. lagu first main, ugly kid joe: everything about you...ricky indon ajar masa form three (1993). time tu baru start minat. officially, start pegang bass masa 1998 la.. back in UM. its an ibanez one piece bass, old.. but good tone.. last last hilang kene curik, ganti ngan hohner, bought by abong. okey la bass ni... layan gak..heheh. time pakai bass ni la byk belajar main yg betul, with tunjuk ajar from che' kamal... mannn.. i got a long history with this bass..
but what i'm aiming at would be fender, musicman, yamaha, ibanez, warwick perhaps...heheh
all expensive ones... haiiiyaaaa... no money! got one cheap one...samick, less tahn 1k. sound ok, but still.... no pitih!!! 
i liked fender for the deep, cruchy sound, plus the geddy lee's is a real beauty... muaahhhh!! classic!! and ernie ball's... welll it speaks for itself... the sound is very nice.. u like no doubt? well, the hindu basist is using one... damn good la him...best gilerr.. ibanez... i used it seldomly now at the jamm session we had on weekends.. cam best lakkk.. sound dia deep.. suitable la ngan lagu lagu ngan kitaorang main..
warwick.... aiseyyyy i think all of you heard alredi the albums of incubus... no lahh! not the latest album! the older ones... with the old basist guy, dirk lance.. best siottt dia... fusion of funk + jazz + metal... fuhhh mana ntah dia dapat idea nak buat camtu.. sound dia.... purrrrfect!!! he's using warwick mainly... and u can judge for yourself..
yamaha plak... fuyooooo... attitude bass yg billy sheehan pakai tu... cool gilerrr.. siap ngan super woofer pickups... whatever that is, hehehe. tapi best la...
last saturday, i went to one utama.. went to the new wing and found new shops. ehhhh ehhh.. ada kedai yamaha kat sini... apa lagi.. masuk la survey... tengok tengok ada a new bass on display... fuhh.. terus angkat la.. try... (bukan beli!)
try try, owner kedai dtg borak borak... siap bukakk catalog tunjuk range of products... hahah.. layan je laa... kira cam upah kat dia la kasi aku try gitar... main main kejap, pastu dia panggil masuk studio, try bass tu kat amp.. fuhhh menggigil aku kejap.. ayooo... i havent played for a long time (3 weeks since we last jammed)... siap ajak resident drummer kat situ join..(they got music teaching class) waaaawawawawa.... mampus aku..
aku pegi jugak laaa.. try test cuba. best gak bunyi dia... mersiiik!! tapi tu lahhh... tanya price...dia kata rm1800... maaaakkk aiiii.. takdo do duit dennnnnn... nahh amik balik... poie lotak balik kat showcase... takmo takmo... huhuhuhu.... jom balik oi... takmo dah berangannnnnnn...
there.. camtu lah cerita nya kali ni...me and my angan angan... heheheh...
lastttt.. selamat berpuasa oii..... jangan ngengada ponteng.. hapa... ingat budak budak lagi??? hahahah

On this day, we planned to go somewhere and enjoy our sunday day out.. so we went to Aquaria, located beneath the convention centre just beside KLCC. Ramai orang cakap best, so we want to try it also! hehehe..
it a bit dark down here...and no camera flashes are allowed.. so u have to excuse me for poor poor pic quality... i guess they dont want to upset the fishies too much.. but.. then again.. ada gak a few visitors being ignorant and using their flashes.. grrrr.. annoying la plak rasa sebab kita tak boleh pakai.. soo.. stick to da rule laaa!
they have a few unique collections down there, reptiles, kodoks, spiders, etc.. near the entrance.. i guess i was the appetizers.. hahaha.. lepas tu baru la jumpa ikan...
the main attraction is the tunnel i guess, where visitors would feel like being underwater.. without the gogles and fins.. heheh.. call it a free scuba experience..
so, we went through... see there see here.. well, sorry but it kinda didnt perk me much like i expected. ntah... cam biasa je.... hmm.. so.. i can only give 3+1/2 star out of 5. dah la entrance fee quite expensive for me...rm28.00 for a short tour, looking at things that i can easily see somewhere else..(FYI, kat Shah Alam ada this one Aquarium sebelah wet world that exhibits similar fishes too. and its FREE!!) its a good place, but not catchy enough for me to make a second visit. ada orang lain dah pegi? commentsss!!???

oh... i received a call from nadia, saying that alaina just delivered on that day. Dan dan ptg tu jugak, after work we both went to HUKM to see her. she's fine, in great shape too.. and the baby is soooo cute. u should see her fingers and toes..
